Venue (with food) cost the most followed by photo/video, alcohol is very close behind, then flowers, and custom wedding bands....as far as saving money, I found some nice wedding wedges for $5 at Payless last year so that's pretty good!

Probably spending the most on venue, flowers and photographer. Trying to cut money by nixing a limo, favors. I also have 3K saved for a dress but if I could go below that, I would be pretty happy

Venue with food and open bar and flowers. Kate, I came in $77 under my budget for my wedding dress and freaked out. My fiance was looking at me like "really?" -_-

My food/booze was the highest but includes ceremony site, centerpieces, cake, coordinator, linens, etc.

I saved on flowers by just doing bouts and bouquets. I had a small dress budget and stuck to it.

Venue thus far but it includes food and beverages. I have gone over budget for every vendor with exception of the DJ, I managed to come in $50 under for that one.

From what I've looked into so far, food will the biggest expense. We're using the church I grew up in as a venue (hopefully) and that'll be our biggest savings as the cost is only a love offering which will be much less than the $1600 venue we originally looked at. I'm also planning on buying some fall decor stuff if I can find any clearance deals after Halloween/Thanksgiving

Food/alcohol/venue (catering comes with the venue), followed by photography (several thousand dollar gap between the two, of course).

Definitely spending the most on venue, food, alcohol. Planning to splurge on photographer as well, but I did meet one I LOVE with absolutely amazing rates.

Definitely going to be getting thrifty with flowers/decorations/accessories.

Awesome!! Love hearing from everyone! We are spending the most on the catering company! 11K but includes 3app, raw bar, 3 entrees, late night food, desert. Also linens, tables, flatware, and they have a decor warehouse we can pull from My fiancé works for a big liquor company so they are donating all the liquor!! Saving money on the garden on the beach venue (it's 1k donation) which was shocking to me bc we thought it would be more!
