Best wedding you attended?

What made it stand out from the rest? Good food, proper hosting, unique entertainment, etc?

Best wedding I ever attended was this one that had a magician perform during reception! I just felt like it was so unique. And they had a photo booth and a dessert table too so overall I felt they really did well with making sure guests were entertained and stuff

To add to that I always love involved couples, the couples that stick with each other all night! I’ve been to a few weddings recently where the guys are off outside doing their own thing while the bride is alone with her friends dancing 😅I hate that.

The DJ makes or breaks the reception. The best wedding I went to the dj played music that everyone enjoyed and could dance to and the majority of the guests stayed and danced until the venue closed

I agree with everyone above about the music and or DJ. BUT, the best wedding I went to handed out pizza and breakfast tacos at the exit. It was really nice to have that after dancing and drinking throughout the night. It made everyone feel so fancy and special. They also had hangover kits in the hotel rooms. It included Tylenol, alkaseltzer, mini water bottles, some fruit and random snacks. It came in handy the next day and it’s something that’s always stuck with me as something I would include for traveling guests.

The best wedding i was ever at was 2 years ago: during the “cocktail hour” while the bridal party was getting pictures they had board/card games and snacks available.. it was so much fun!! The food was great!! Olive Garden catered and the food WAS NOT DRIED out like most of the other catered weddings... no dancing, ....since the bride’s dad didnt dance they had a father/bride ping pong match!! It was awesome!!!

I've noticed that how much fun I have at weddings is directly related to how much I care about the couple.

The best wedding I attended had wonderful hosts. The bride and groom talked to everyone and really were generous with their time on their big day. The parents of the bride also made sure everyone was enjoying themselves and were so friendly. We all felt so welcome that we enjoyed dancing, eating, and drinking like we were with our own family. There was food throughout the nightm, and the alcohol was easy to access (bar and coolers). The wedding was very modest in budget and also very hot (90 degrees in a barn) and I would go to it again and again if I could.

    1. Dancing - that's always where the memories are made for the group as a whole. Many other things are primarily for the bride and groom's memories but the dance floor is where everyone can let loose and have a laugh!

    2. Dessert - my favorite was an ice cream bar/buffet from a local creamery. So good.

    3. Dogs and kids that are part of the procession. Flower girl, ring bearer, best dog.

The two most important things for me as a wedding guest are food and music/dancing. I won’t remember what the centerpieces looked like, but I’ll remember how delicious my dinner was! The things my family and friends talk about most are the food, whether or not the party was fun, and how beautiful the ceremony was. I’ve never heard someone complain about a ceremony (beyond the weather), but food and dancing are a different story.
