Best Wedding Planner Binder/Organizer

Jessica, on January 9, 2017 at 5:29 PM Posted in Planning 0 19

I'm newly engaged and my fiancé and I are still a little nervous about plunging into the whole wedding planning process. We have decided to attempt to plan the celebration ourselves with the help of family members who have experience in wedding planning. They have suggested that we get a good wedding planner/binder. Any suggestions for a good wedding planner/binder that's user friendly, and that information can easily be entered in an organized fashion? Thank you in advance for advice and suggestions #PandJgetHitched

My friend gave me one from Kate spade that I love,

But I've also seen tons of printables on Pinterest and then you can just get exactly what you need.

I honestly havent used my binder. I used it a bit at the beginning, but pintetest boards are better for idea gathering, and ww's vendor tab is easier for contacting & researching the vendors we need to book.

Don't even bother. I bought binder pages and a binder and haven't looked at it since the first week lol. I put contracts in sleeves and put them in there but I mainly use the weddingwire and WedHappy apps for timelines. And keep track of my spending and estimates on google sheets.

I bought the Knot Binder and used it a lot in the first few months when we were booking vendors. I keep printouts of all the contracts in it too. I haven't used it since I got a wedding planner though. Now everything is on aisleplanner instead.

I am using an old 3 ring binder I had for a class I was taking last semester, I put sleeves in it I bought from dollar tree, loose leaf paper, and dividers. It's working wonders for me and only cost me $4 total, lol

My sisters got me a book that explains wedding stuff, but it's still overwhelming for me lol. My cousin got me a checklist planner which is more simple.

I used Michael's spiral wedding planner. I'm not one for binders, and wanted something I could carry with me. I use it a lot. But I'm big on planners in my life in general. I like it, it does feel slightly disorganized. I just found a different brand called the Erin Condren planner, and they are a bit pricier, but its the perfect size and you can customize a lot of it, and the layout looks amazing. I wish I would've gotten that one. But, if your brain doesn't work that way, then don't bother getting one.

I saw one at David's Bridal yesterday that looked like it would have been very helpful at the beginning of planning.
