Best Wedding Organizers/ Agendas

finallyfilon, on July 8, 2017 at 1:18 AM Posted in Planning 0 23

I'm newly engaged and so excited to start planning! I am obsessed with planners and organizers and am wondering what planners/agendas/ organizers you used for your wedding planning. Feel free to send pictures and share pro's and con's. I'm looking for something that is detailed but that gives me room to write. I've heard great reviews about Erin Condrin and the Michael's brand planner. Any suggestions?!

I just bought "The Knot" organizer off Amazon. Im not sure how much I like it yet... a lot of places to jot down things and keep info. I think I'm just overwhelmed with the thought of planning lol

My "con" with the organizers is that they are typically geared towards a set list of wedding must do's and some of them just aren't a big deal where I'm from. Example: save the dates are big in the planning timeline but no one here sends them!

If you are into DIY, there are a ton of free printable timelines, checklists, and organizers on the internet and Pinterest. I just printed out the ones I needed and skipped the ones I didn't, 3 hole punched them, and made my own binder!

I was given an Erin Condren planner and I LOVE it. It was customized to my wedding by my best friends and it is perfect. Highly recommend.

I never bought a physical organizer. Everything was done through Google Docs and Wedding Wire.

I use the Knott for mine, just because I was on there first.

I Have the knot wedding planner and barely use it. I have a 1" binder I keep all my contracts in and important documents, guest list, payment due dates, vendor contact information in etc and a basic checklist I printed off Pinterest.

However my DOC uses aisle planner which is an awesome web-based program and she set me up with an account and I use that all the time. Everything is electronic and she uploaded all my contracts and I uploaded a guest list so it's all there for access.

I love my Michaels planner! It has pockets in each section and a Ziploc bag in the back that is great for receipts! It also has pictures with different styles to help you with wedding lingo. I do however supplement this with wedding wire's checklist as well as the knot's.

I created a wedding binder myself but in the end I abandoned it and went with my beloved excel. I've got spreadsheets for everything and best of all, I can just email copies to my wedding planner and sister before the wedding so they can access it on their phones and tablets noted of carrying around anything cumbersome. I also put copies of all my contracts in a shared G drive to share with my wedding planner as well.

I am using a bullet journal since our wedding is unconventional. I love that I can play around with the structure and make it whatever I want!

I didn't buy an actual planner either. I bought a binder and printed things off Pinterest, budget charts and time lines. I used it a lot in the beginning and now not so much. However, I do keep all of my contracts/receipts in my binder and I bring it to EVERY meeting. All of the vendors are super impressed with how organized I am.

Congrats! I looked at the adorable Erin Condren planners, but got nervous about keeping my wedding planning and appointments separate from my trusty Filofax. I also found that there's was so much info. that I really need to use a lot of spreadsheets, so I'm using Google Sheets so I can share with others and bring them up on my phone at appointments. Then I got some wedding stickers and printed out some timelines for my planner! My wedding may be in 2019 so I'm gonna order 2019 inserts already to I can create the whole to-do list.

I didn't buy a planner. I've used Google Docs/Sheets for most things because I can share them with my FH and family members easily. I also have a binder where I've been keeping important documents, contracts, etc. I printed out a couple different checklists and put them in there.

I bought a planner and used it for maybe a month and a half. My FH and I split our duties and used a gmail account set up just for the wedding and google doc google calendars and google sheets to keep things organized. We downloaded the apps on our phones and tablets and it made planning so much more seamless

I made a binder myself. Bought a cute binder from target and some plastic sleeves to put in it, along with a planner and printable timeline and check lists off Pinterest. It was a lot cheaper then buying one and It's personalized to me!!

I primarily just use a notebook to jot down notes, but I made my own binder with free printables I found online, like from Martha Stewart and WedPlan, and a few extras (I forgot the site). This way I could fully customize my binder based on my needs and only use the pages that are relevant to me. I also use it to store copies of contracts, venue floor plans, menus, etc. I like to be really organized about things like this, so the combination of resources has been wonderful for me.

I have everything on my computer but also want to have it with me when I go to appointments so I had a notebook that I was able to keep organized until Thursday night I had a melt down and couldn't find something I know I wrote. So I drove my ass to Barnes and a Noble and bought the Knot planner. A lot of the book is unnecessarily detailed, but i do feel more at ease haha.
