Best wedding date

Honestly? Summer 2022

In terms of best guesses of when we will be virus free and able to travel without much concern, I would say fall of 2021 at the earliest. Possibly even into 2022. I say that because they are estimating 18 months before we have a vaccine, and there doesn’t seem to be much hope for an effective treatment for this virus. I hate to say it, but I think wd have a long time before things are back to normal

They actually are most likely going to have a vaccine out before fall! If you look into it, they are working diligently and there has been major moves forward with that! This virus, just like every other virus, will never be gone. But it will lessen. There’s even promises right now with meds that help!

I think it also depends on a lot of demographics for wedding size, location, etc. but I postponed mine to fall 2021 and felt better with that.

This is a question that cannot be answered.

For all we know this pandemic could come back every year. If not this one, another one could sweep the country, remember Swine Flu/Bird Flu/SARS? If not a viral pandemic it could be a natural disaster (Hurricanes, earthquakes, wild fires), a national disaster (9/11, Pearl Harbor, Oklahoma City Bombing, WACO) any number of things that could happen at ANY TIME could happen.

What is most important is that you pick a date to get married, you plan for it and you look forward to it and that is all the control you have over the situation.
