Best website for wedding invitations?

Miranda, on September 11, 2019 at 4:39 PM Posted in Planning 1 12
Having a hard time finding invitations with the whole set ( reception, directions, accommodations etc) . Any ideas where to find websites that include the whole thing.

I bought a template on Etsy and the seller made me the extra cards. I also had a hard time finding a full set that was less than $300 which I was not willing to spend.

We used Minted and requested complimentary modifications for the RSVP card to allow for online responses.

I'm not sure, but I haven't seen an invitation suite that has all of those together. I am ordering a complete invitation suite, but it only includes the invitation, the RSVP card, and all the envelopes I'll need for those things. However, I have the option of adding the detail card, and one other card (for multi-purpose), I just don't happen to need those. I'm ordering from Ann's Bridal Bargains.

But I've seen the same kinds of sets through VistaPrint, Shutterfly, Minted, Zazzle, etc. Most places have the basics, with the option of adding stuff, depending on your needs. But you pay for those extras.

A lot of what you are talking about can be included on your wedding website, and doesn't necessarily have to be on the invitations. Especially directions. Note that if you do put extras in your invitations (card for hotel accommodations, card for directions, etc.) it will add to the cost of the postage on the invitations. The more they have, the heavier they are!

Zazzle doesn’t sell them all as a set but each theme can be ordered in any kind of paper. I had the option for envelope liner/invitations/save the date/rsvp/menu/info cards so my stuff all could match.

I have requested lots of free samples (InvitationsByDawn & elli have some of our current favorite designs), but we are still not sure who to go with for our invites, RSVPs, and save-the-dates. Where are some of the best places for printing/designing invitations? Will anyone be hiring a calligrapher to address envelopes, or will you do DIY invites?

edit: so far, I have requested FREE samples from:

    Elli

    InvitationsByDawn

    minted weddings

    Truly engaging by Magnet Street

    The American Wedding

    Wedding Paper Divas by Shutterfly

    Vistaprint

some sites let your pick a few specific invites to sample, others will send a standard sample packet including menus, envelopes, paper samples, etc. A few places have sent napkins and save the date magnets.

Minted had full sets, but for all of those the price does go up. I got the pre addressed envelope, envelope slip, invitation with front printing and back decorations, and an additional card for the wedding website/rsvp info. The rest of the info will be on the website. I got 65 for $280, I think. But they do have cheaper options. We'll print our own itineraries for the day of.

We used Minted and love it. Not ridiculous with expense and they’re beautiful also they almost always have a sale going on!
