Best time to purchase wedding band

I've always heard the exact opposite about sales regarding jewelry. You never buy jewelry around Christmas, Valentine's Day, etc because that's when it's the most expensive. Since you have so much time, jewelry is usually cheaper around April.

I would not finance it though, no. Save up the cash!

We got ours from Jared and we would just wait for when they do promotions and such. Example: They sent us a coupon for $100 off when you spend $250 or more. Well, FH's ring only cost $300 so we used that and in total after taxes, it cost me $216.

Christmas will definitely have more promotions and such, or valentines day. I would look around then to save you the most money.

@janeen-the store has like a layaway program with no interest for 12 months. We don't have to get a card or anything like that.

We bought ours at Jared almost a year out for that exact reason. They sent us a coupon before Christmas to get us to buy Christmas gifts there.

We went through Ostermans for my engagement ring and part of their rewards was a 500$ off next purchase. .This was during the Christmas season and the voucher was only good for 6 months. I basically got his band for free

If it's a layaway option, then that isn't so bad. As long as the payments are within your means and you can make them with no interest, then it sounds like a viable option.
