Best Man/Ring Bearer question

Sorry.... need to check my abbreviations again.... not sure if BM is bridesmaid or best man.... but I was asking about best man.... TIA

We aren't having a ring bearer either and I think that my MOH will carry my FH's wedding band and that his BM will carry my wedding band. I don't think that they need to be in a box, unless you want to make sure nothing is lost.

Also I don't think that the ring bearer would actually carry the real wedding bands down the aisle as it is very easy to lose them.

Thats right.... I remember now at my first wedding having fake rings on the pillow

There are no rules, but I think most people have the MOH carry the groom's and the bestman carry the bride's. Doesn't have to be in a box, well maybe it's best to put them in a box, speciallyt the groom's since the MOH will most likely have no pockets on her dress etc...

We had ring bearers, but they were both very young, so they didn't carry the real rings. Our BM carried my ring in his pocket, and our MOH carried DHs ring on her thumb.

I had our rings in an organza bag inside a small wooden box that the ring bearer carried and presented to the officiant. It was super cute and that way if the RB tripped or something, the bag would be easy to find and retrieve.

DS's ring was held by my MOH (she wore it on her thumb) and my ring was in BM's pocket. Our ringbearer didn't really want the real rings.
