Best Boobs! :)

Kelsey, on January 11, 2011 at 10:57 AM Posted in Planning 0 6

I would like to buy a strapless push-up bra for under my wedding dress. I am currently a 34B cup size - when I tried on wedding dresses of course the store gives you bras that have no push! I basically looked flat since the dresses can become so heavy.

What is the best push-up strapless bra for underneath a wedding dress? Most comfortable?

THANK YOU!!

I'm getting my dress at ProNovias and they will be inserting cups into my dress, I won't be needing a bra, but I had just gotten a strapless bra for a wedding I was in last year, (three way bra Victoria Secret)and it was great, the bra never went down it was always in place and gave me the lift I needed without the straps.

I'm actually wondering this too as I went into Fredrick's the other day to get something for under my dress and was disappointed as the one thing that should have worked had no lift Smiley sad. Interested to hear suggestions!

I hate strapless bras, because I'm a card carrying member of the IBTC (Itty Bitty Titty Committee) I never feel like they stay in place and always end up drooping lower, providing no lift. The long line bra I bought for my dress definitely didn't let the bra slip down, but didn't do anything for making my girls look good. In the end I didn't wear a bra because between the boning in the bodice of my dress and the snug fit I wasn't worried about a wardrobe malfunction. I felt the long line bra was just another layer and not very comfy to boot. I bought these silicone inserts (they looked kinda like boneless chicken breasts! Ha ha!) and put those in my dress for a little shape. Had I made the decision not to wear a bra earlier on, I could have had cups inserted into my dress by the seamstress. But this method worked for me...

I'm not *small* and I have the same issue with strapless bras. The longline bras work better for me, because they stay in place.

Have you considered a corset style that will provde some lift? That may be something to try.

I ordered a corset online and it not only sucks me in but also holds me up really well, it has boning in it which helps hold me up (this could be a problem if your dress has thin material) be careful when ordering because boning can be uncomfortable depending on how it fits your shape
