I originally wanted my hair up, but now I am wondering if it would look better down. Thoughts and opinions! Thanks!

Doing it up in case it's humid

I'm doing half up half down. My stylist is going to put in clip in extensions, so I'll have plenty of length and volume. My hair holds curl really well, and although it's frizz prone, May in the desert rarely has any humidity to speak of. Our wedding is a causal destination wedding, so I also wanted a less formal style.

I plan on wearing my hair up in a low bun thing for the ceremony. My hair stylist is going to make it easy for me to pull some pins out so I can have it half up half down for the reception.

I was going to wear half up half down but I think I'm going to find something really pretty and put it up. I don't think my hair would look good very long and seems like everyone gets their hair done early in the day. I want it to look good when I walk down the aisle! My hair is very think and heavy so any curl would be gone fast!

I am having my hair up because my hair is fine and doesn't hold curls very well when it's down. Plus I don't want my hair in my face all day, I wear my hair down at work and it's constantly in my way since my bangs are growing out. It really does depend on your dress and how you normally wear your hair and what you would feel comfortable with.

I personally can't stand my hair down. It's down for like ten minutes at a time in my regular life. So there was no question it was going to be 'up' the day of. I looked to my daily life in what I can tolerate or not for what made sense rather than my dress or other input.

Try googling your exact dress. Sometimes you can get a great idea through google images seeing how other brides wore their hair with your same dress based on body shape and different skin types.

Up usually means your hair will stay in place (hairspray and bobby pins) and you won't have to worry about it. I have thick hair and when I do any kind of styling, straight or curly, I find my hair won't hold it for very long if at all. But you do miss out on a lot of the cute styles that having your hair down would allow you to do. It depends on your hair and what it can hold.

I'm going with down because by the end of the night, it's so simple to pin into an updo yourself...best of both worlds. I wear my hair both ways and I like the way undos frame my face, but I don't think I'd be as comfortable.

I am thinking half up, half down. I wanted all up, but FH likes it down. I normally wear it down, but I'm worried about how hot it will be.
