Hi Kaitlynn! Where in SC are you thinking? (Myrtle Beach, Folly Beach, Charleston??)

I'd check out the tourism website for each area to find their wedding rules! Here's a link for Myrtle Beach weddings for example: Myrtle Beach Weddings Rules.

If you've got a big guest list, I'd book a beachfront wedding venue that can organize the beach ceremony for you and also cover your reception needs!

Search South Carolina Beach Wedding Venues

If you're thinking about planning something smaller, you can hire a beach wedding planner to cover those details as well like: Coastal Weddings & Events, Beach Occasions, Blessed Beach Weddings, and Romantic Myrtle Beach Weddings.

Each beach/city/state will have their own guidelines, but if it's a public beach for most you'll likely just need a permit Smiley smile! If you hire a planner, they may secure the permit all the odds and ends for you. I'm going through a beach specific wedding coordinator who is taking care of all that for me.
