Beach wedding

Hey all,


No judgment please lol.I was supposed to get married in October in Las Vegas, my fiancé and I decided to get married in June on the beach. My parents have already bought my wedding dress, so here’s the dilemma. I want to get a new dress but my parents are against it because of the amount of money spent on my dress.
Is it ok to wear this dress to my wedding? I want to look for another dress but everyone in my life seems to think this dress will be perfectly fine since we aren’t in “deep” sand. Beach wedding 1Beach wedding 2

    It’s not beachy looking but That doesn’t mean you can’t wear it! I think it looks beautiful on you so if you love it, wear it!!!

    I think you should definitely still wear it!! It's your dress, and you will look beautiful in it on the beach!! I also think the skirt has a certain airy-ness to it that would look suuuuuuper wonderful fanned out on the beach!!

    A lot of times we associate beach weddings with “plain” looking dresses. But girl, do your thing. The dress looks wonderful on you. Regardless of the wedding being at the beach, as long as YOU are happy and comfortable, wear it. You rock it just fine

    Your dress is beautiful and you look great in it. If you're really set on a different look for a beach wedding then you could always have the dress altered to change up the look a bit. Bringing in the skirt to a more straight silhouette, with maybe a slit to expose a little leg....just a thought. I'm sure an experienced seamstress could give you ideas.
