Beach wedding, to go barefoot or not?

I'm getting married in the sands also, we're all going barefoot during the ceremony. I'm having a bucket of sm paint brushes to brush off the sand after. I think our will depend on the time of day as to how hot the sand is. I think heels will be be too much maybe some cute sandals or flip flops.

No matter the shoe, your feet will probably get dirty.
Sand temp totally depends on the day and the time of day.
If you do decide to go barefoot, I'd suggest having a backup pair of flip flops just in case.

I don't think I'd go barefoot for the pure reason of not knowing how hot the sand would be but I agree with PP your foot would get dirty even with sandals on

I got married on the beach last month in Florida and I went barefoot. The sand wasn’t bad at all but I got married at 5:30. To be sure you should go out maybe the day before during your rehearsal and check it out. Just have a pair of flats with you just in case. I actually wore flip flops to the beach so my feet didn’t get too dirty from my room then took them off before I walked down the aisle. Part of wanting a beach wedding was so I didn’t have to wear shoes. Good luck.

If I was getting married on the beach, I'd definitely go barefoot.
