Beach Wedding Shoes

Hello fellow brides to be

I am thinking of styles on what I want to wear for my reception. For a while, I was not going to wear heels because it's a real chill and relaxing environment. Plus , I don't want my feet to be sore by the end of the night. But then again my mom and cousin suggested I should and I am short and small framed . So I don't want to look too tiny. So I figured a little heel won't hurt lol. Is there any brides out there that are doing their wedding on the beach and have any suggestions or ideas? And my bridesmaids and I are wearing toe anklets with starfishes during the ceremony Smiley smile

I got married on the beach and went barefoot for the ceremony but work a block heel for the reception. It was very comfortable.

If you're getting married ON the beach, I would wear flats or go barefoot. A heel will sink into the sand and make it very difficult to walk. Otherwise, wedges and block heels will be the most comfortable heels to wear for extended periods of time.

What about a wedge? Bit more stable than a traditional heel and can be really comfortable.

I originally bought a pair of wedges, but then I changed my mind to wear kate spade keds. NC sand is coarse, so I went against being barefoot. (Hated the feeling during my eng shoot). Still love the wedges, but we're leaving on a dirtbike and our reception is on a boat. The keds were more practical for my situationBeach Wedding Shoes 3
