Beach wedding- barefoot or shoes?

Hi all! I’m getting married on the beach in four months and still undecided on shoes or no shoes for the ceremony. The reception will be a bit of walk from our resort as we are getting married right beside the gulf. For those who have got married on the beach, what kind of shoes did you wear - if any? Thank you!

Try googling "shoeless sandals." I think they look gorgeous. I'm not getting married at the beach, but if I was I would wear these.

Have you walked on the beach? It’s difficult to maneuver on sand even in flip flops. Barefoot is the best option.

You could do sandasols, which will give a little traction and protect the balls of your feet from hot sand, rocks, jagged pieces of shell, etc.

Or there are also adhesive sole protectors that just stick to the bottoms of your feet
