Beach wedding. Arbor or no arbor?

Hey all!

I am getting married in Punta Cana in April of this year.The ceremony package I have does not include and arbor. They have some really pretty options, but they’re all on average about 400.00 dollars, which for me seems pretty pricey considering the ceremony will only be about 20 minutes long. Should I splurge and get one, or will the ocean scenery be enough? Thoughts?

I would not for $400 lol. The beach itself will be beautiful. I would say maybe rose petals in the sand or something?

I agree with the photos above or just enjoy the natural scenery. What more do you need than the beautiful ocean?

We’re getting married on the beach as well. Our ceremony package actually includes an arbor, but I just wasn’t feeling it. So we’re having them switch the arbor out for tiki torches. It gives a little something without blocking the view. And definitely is a cheaper option, we’re even getting more money to spend elsewhere since we made the switch!

Thanks everyone! I’m thinking of opting out of the arbor. I will look and see if the wedding decor place I am dealing with has any other options like rose petals. I do agree the beach scenery itself might be enough!

I opted out, I thought the view looking out to the water was great I didn’t want anything in the way!
