Barn Weddings

Our venue is not a barn, but it's definitely more rustic. We're doing a simple/elegant theme with country undertones. This is an attachment to my wedding inspo thread and a photo of my venue!

*the ceremony dress

The reception dress is completely see through in the front and back. I am a plus size girl so I will need a girdle, but I’m not sure how I will wear one with it being see through. Any ideas?

These are both gorgeous dresses! I saw a backless and strapless spanx type bodysuit at Davids Bridal. It would definitely be worth trying!

Our venue was a large renovated barn on an equestrian center. Our theme was country but very elegant.

Our ceremony space (upstairs in a loft - it rained so we had to move inside)

We had a beer donkey at cocktail hour!

For our grand exit, everyone rang mini cowbells as we went to our limo.

Yes! This is a pic of the inside where the reception will be. The ceremony space is outside. It's a sweet, rustic spring wedding. Maybe elegant rustic? Having pastel colors, probably gold accents? But also some galvanized metal, wooden slices and some lace and burlap. It's also a brunch wedding, so light and springy and sweet is the feel I'm going for
