Barn wedding with gravel and grass- need show help

Aundreaha, on February 1, 2018 at 5:55 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10
I’m having my wedding in September and I need help figuring out if I can wear heels, wedges or anything for my dress!!!!! I have an open slot in the front, so everyone will see my feet!!! The ground is gravel mainly for the reception and grass for the ceremony. My dress will not look good with cowgirl boots either- it’s platinum with white over lace with full length vail!!! Help!!!

I would wear flats. There are a lot of nice flats that would look nice with your dress.

How about a nice pair of flats?
That way you don't have to worry about tripping over gravel. Or if you are determined to wear a heel, I would go for a low wedge.

What colors are in your wedding palette? Are you interested in a colored shoes?

You can wear flats, wedges or a heel with solemates. They will stop you from sinking into the grass and protect your heels on the gravel.

My colors are sunflower yellow, light gray and mix of wild flowers!! And those solemates sound amazing! I can wear heels comfortably and I’m worried I will be too short on my wedding day for my future husband who is 6’2

The style right now has the chunky heel again which will help. I would get some shoes and go walk on it and see how it feels in real life.

A block heel is really in style and if you were willing to wear a color, you could find some very pretty shoes. Plus, with a block heel, you can have a pretty high heel.

Block heel or wedge if you want height. Flats if you don't

You can totally rock a block heel or there are also little clear plastic attachments that you can get on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/STOPPERS-Heel-Protectors-Prevents-Sinking/dp/B01KGFOTMS) or at bridal stores that go on regular heels to make them manageable on grass!
