When people say your wedding day flies by its so true! Make sure to take a few moments at the altar and then during the reception to step back, breathe, look around the room and really acknowledge the people in attendance, how you feel in that moment and all the hard work that came together to create your special day!
Venue: Ramsey Golf and Country Club - I can't put into words how helpful, responsive and cool and collected out Maitre D Michael was throughout the entire process. We did not need to hire a wedding planner or Day of Coordinator because he and his staff took care of literally everything from showing the photographers the best places for photographs, to setting up all of our decor (even re-purposing cocktail hour decor into reception space decor) to making sure my hubby and I received samples of all of the hor dourves in a private room after our ceremony, to working with our budget and relatively lower (100 guests) guest count. Additionally, all of our guests cleaned their plates! I would hands down recommend this venue to anyone looking in the Northern NJ area
DJ: Love of Music Entertainment - Giuseppe: Giuseppe and his team kept people on the dance literally ALL NIGHT and we even unexpectedly received high quality photos and videos that he took the very next day. So many people told us that it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to (one guest's sister had even gotten married the week before us! lol)
Florist: SK FLoral Expressions: Stephanie works out of her home and her prices definitely reflect the savings benefit she gets from no overhead. Her work was beautiful, she was able to bring my vision to life perfectly, and we received so many compliments
Beauty: Joann Solomon Beauty: Joann was a consummate professional, arrived to the venue early, and kept my mom, mother of the groom and my sister (MOH) engaged in lighthearted conversation the entire morning. My makeup held up through late August sun, boo-hoo ceremony crying and dancing all night. I was concerned about frizz as an African American with coarse hair, but again, her work stood the tests of all the elements!
Photographer: KetaNuva: Ketan and his assistant are SO stealthy, we barely saw them all night and haven't received our full album yet but the sneak peeks are gorgeous so far. We also worked with them for our engagement shoot and they were nothing but a pleasure
Cake: Polkadot Cake Shop: I am a cake snob and literally 10+ people told me this was the best cake they have ever had. End of story.
