Jarka, on July 10, 2017 at 1:10 AM Posted in Planning 0 82

Hi everybody....can somebody tell me how to get our wedding pictures out of our wedding photographer? Our wedding was July 22nd 2016. Its almost a year and we still don't have our photos. She keeps promising them, but nothing. If she even respond its threatening us with restraining order because we are asking when we will get our photos. What we should or could do????? Please

Send a letter by certified mail stating what you want (pictures by x date) and spell out what you will do if she doesn't comply (consult an attorney, sue her for breach of contract, other options).

Why did you wait this long?

I'm with the others....what did the contract say? What made you hire this person? Why wait an entire year before taking action? The certified mail idea is only good if you have a contract, otherwise it;s a verbal agreement and harder to prove. Anyone who can't deliver photos in a year, I am skeptical they even have a contract, let us know so we can advise you better.

Oh this is so horrible...Do you have a contract with this photographer? What is the turn around time outlined in the contract? Have they released ANY photos to you? (sneak peak, etc)

You need to pull put the contract, find the date they were promised by, send certified mail giving her x amount of time because she violated the contract, and state if you don't have them on or before that date you will be contacting an attorney.

Hi everyone....thank you! well I have to tell you the whole story. we have a contract. It says she will deliver pictures in 4 to 6 weeks. It didn't happen. Then we took her to the small claim, she didn't pay...then she filed restraining order against us...that didn't work for her. So now we are trying to figure out how to get it out of her. Plus....there is like 7 of us in the same situation. People paid her, she keeps promising the pics ( if she answeres them) and nothing. No money back, no pictures. And she is continuing at her work. I just want something back and mainly warn others.

You need to consult an attorney especially since you have attempted to handle this already and she has not complied.

    You should take legal actions.

Also, leave reviews for her on WW, TheKnot, Yelp, Google, Facebook, everywhere you can. If she's still working, it means people are still hiring her.

I'd consult an attorney at this point. I am an attorney and cannot give you legal advice (plus I don't know what state you are in and laws vary) but bring this to a reputable attorney in your area to explore some options. Your rights depend on the contract and the determination made at small claims, without examining those more fully it would be impossible to give you good advice beyond seeking legal help.

If going to the court didn't work try your local news media, no but I like bad publications our review.

We have an attorney , yes. But girls are hesitating to do it...because of the costs. So lets see. I did write reviews everywhere I could, believe me. Smiley winking Thank you! Is there any site where I can report her or something?

This is awful! It should never ever take more than a few months. Like other said, pull your contract, send a certified letter (take pictures and make copies), and pull all your proof of payments to her.

Well, if you think she owes you money because of breach of contract, you could send her a letter through BadDebt.com (might be BadDebts.com). It gives you the option to ding her credit report.

But probably you want the photos rather than bucks, I'd suspect.

I hate to say it, but after this much time? She probably has no intention of getting you or anyone else photos. Do you have media in your area that you can contact, like "7 on your side"or "Better get Baquero"? Sometimes the threat of going very public

It sounds like she doesn't have them...I'm sorry to say this...but if she did she would have given them to you by now to get off your back. She lost them or something went wrong :-(

My guess is at this point there are no wedding photos. This is horrific and Im glad you are warning others. I hope you at least get your money back and she is no longer able to do business. What she is doing is fraudulent.
