Bacon Bar?

I love bacon. But, FH has a weird quirk where he does not want to smell cooking food. Given that it is bacon, I can't think of any feasible way to make that possible.

But if it were just me, I would LOVE it. Bacon, Bacon wrapped shrimp, bacon and biscuits, bacon sandwiches, bacon!!

I even, one time, saw a bloody mary recipe with a bacon stirrer. Yuuuummmm

Haha yep its good with a lot of things. I think it would be a little awkward to serve, like do you do individual pieces or a bundle of 3 or? Lol

I love bacon, but not really cold bacon that's been sitting in its grease.

What kind of different bacon did they do? Like peppered, pancetta, apple-smoked, etc.?

Accents of bacon like the bloody Mary or Chocolate covered bacon.

Please do not tell FH, he will want a bacon bar.

Oh god...if I had a bacon bar I would be sick from eating It all. I don't eat it often, but I LOVE bacon. I was looking at maple bacon cupcakes from a baker on FB earlier.

I was watching that too! There were all different kinds, seasoned with fun stuff. It looked like they have dudes cooking it right there and then they put the cooked bacon on hot plates in front of their station. Seriously mouth watering going on over here!!!!!

Lol I love that episode. Her hardvard wedding was beautiful in general.

But, yea we totally would do a bacon bar. But I know I personally would go a little nutty and try to eat all the bacon and have no room left for dinner haha so, we decided to pass.

I wish I had a friend who would have a bacon bar.

My friend had one at her wedding last fall and it was A-MAZ-ING!! They had applewood smoked, peppered and some other one with melted chocolate and a vinegar-based BBQ sauce for dipping. It was so delicious!

I would actually LOVE a bacon bar...FH said no :-(

FH would love a bacon bar but since all food besides the cake have to be provided by the hotel venue, they would charge an astronomical price for some bacon. Plus it wouldn't be fair to our Muslim guests lol.

I attended a wedding last month that had one and it was amazing!!! they had a 3 different types of bacon - chipotle bacon, pepper corn and applewood and then like 2 or 3 things of bacon wrapped items, bbq bacon wrapped shrimp, bacon wrapped asparagus, Bacon avocado somethings ( they were like guacamole balls wrapped in bacon. Amazing too). I say go for it! This wedding was a barn/farm wedding too! :-)

That would stink for me if I went to a wedding with one. I'm allergic to bacon!
