Bachelorette “wow factor”!?

Emily, on August 1, 2019 at 8:07 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 7
My sister, my mom, and I are all engaged at the same time, which is super cool! My sister’s bachelorette party is in 2 weeks. I’m hosting it in Nashville, where I live. I have a theme, decorations, a loose itinerary planned (mostly bars and restaurants because that’s what we do in Nashville), a boat day on the lake, and welcome baskets for everyone. I just really want to make this a special weekend for my sister but I feel like I’m missing something or could be doing more. She’s super selfless and I just want her to have an amazing time. Maybe it’s because I live here so I don’t view it as something as cool and fun even though I know Nashville is such a fun city. What was your favorite part of your bachelorette party that made you feel extra special? Or, As a bridesmaid, what was the most fun part of a bachelorette trip? Thanks!

Make a scavenger hunt that goes through iconic places in Nashville. Give out of town guests a fun way to tour the city.

What activity is on her bucketlist? I've always had horseback riding trail on mine so I told my girls I'd really like it if we did that.

My favorite part of my bachelorette party was arriving at the AirBnB to see my closest friends and the cutely decorated house. It made me feel really special that they spent so much time and effort to decorate. They also stocked the fridge with all of my favorite foods, which was super sweet. I also really like the game my MOH organized. She had each person attending bring a pair of underwear and I had to try and guess who brought it based on their personalities. It was a lot of fun. I also did my party in Nashville. It was such a fun weekend. I do really like the PP's idea of a scavenger hunt.

    1. My MOH scheduled a massage for me (total surprise) at home in our rented house! It was awesome. The girls laid by the pool and relaxed while I got my massage. That was a real treat! I love matching shirts, so that was fun too. They also did a custom snapchat filter which was super cute!

    2. I like a mix of relaxing & planned activities! I also like when there is something besides a bar/nightclub. Don't get me wrong, I love those! But I like when something is mixed in during the day like yoga or a hike or some kind of activity!

Probably my favorite thing was when my MOH surprised me with a gift from my FH. We all did a wine and paint type thing, and at the end, she gave me a painting she had FH do for me one night when I worked late. He’s very far from an artist, but the effort he put into it meant the world to me. All the bridesmaids thought it was super cute and definitely had me thinking of him during the night.

Honestly, my favorite thing about my bachelorette party was spending time with my amazing friends and sister in law. What you planned sounds wonderful and super fun. I wouldn't stress. Also, I personally like when not every minute is planned out and ideas can just arise spontaneously depending on the mood.
