Bachelorette in Fl... Help

Sasha, on September 12, 2021 at 3:43 PM Posted in Florida Planning 0 3
Hey guys!! I'm from NY, moved here early 2020, living near Orlando. Getting married in Sanford in April 2022! The bridal party is not from FL and they are coming in the week of wedding to be able to do the bachelorette party. Any ideas where to go around Orlando, Sanford or even Tampa area?? (not Disney) Thanks!

Church Street in Downtown Orlando is supposed to be really fun for a bar crawl! There are a bunch of rooftop bars, a Howl at the Moon bar (piano bar that's great for bachelorette groups), and you can check out ICEBAR Orlando! You could also do a spa day, swamp tour, or a group hot air balloon ride. 🎈

If you decide on Tampa I'd definitely do a beach day and book a boozy boat tour!! 🌊 Here are some fun Tampa ideas from The Knot:

Like Lynnie said, Downtown Orlando has lots of bars and you could pick a few for a bar crawl or even see if there is a pre-planned bar crawl event on the weekend you are interested in (if you look on Facebook events or do some googling there's almost always something going on downtown). Mathers is a super cool speakeasy style bar but there's plenty of options.

Honestly, my favorite place to go out in Orlando is Citywalk at Universal. Everyone has to go through security and there are no cars driving around so it feels safer than downtown to me. There are a few clubs including a great karaoke bar (Rising Star) and great restaurants too. Parking is free after 6 pm or you could book one night at an on-site hotel and use park transportation so no-one has to drive.

For something a little more low-key, there is a dinner cruise that runs out of Sanford. I've never done it but it's been on my list. It's called St. Johns Rivership.
