Bach party 3 months before wedding

Charis, on January 31, 2018 at 12:17 PM Posted in Planning 0 7

Both of my Maids of Honor are out of state but are willing to come in to throw me my bachelorette party (I don’t want a shower). But the only time one can do it is spring break, 3 months before the wedding.

I was planning on sending invites out that month. So, should invites go out sooner? Is it odd to have the bachelorette party before the invites go out? We have already sent the Save The Dates.

Its a small wedding and will be a small bach party. But still...

Unless your having a month long bach party then you should be fine. There is more than enough time in a month to do both.

I'm confused, invites for the wedding? The bach party shouldn't cause any issues with sending out invites. Do both, in no particular order. Have fun!

I just didn't know if it was odd to have the party before invites went out.

I think it will be ok. You sent Save the Dates and I'm sure your girls know what's going on. Sometimes things don't go quite as planned, they'll understand. Smiley smile

It's totally fine to send those invitations out after the bachelorette party is over! I don't think anyone will find it weird at all.

I think it will be fine. The people who will be invited likely know you're engaged so you'll be having the bachelorette party.

I'm also having my bachelorette party in March (on St. Patrick's Day!) and getting married in June, since two of my bridesmaids are out of state and spring break works best for their schedules. It won't be a true last hurrah before I'm married, but I don't really care!
