In a little over two years, my husband and I have plans of being first-time parents. We would love to have twins, specifically a boy and a girl. After much research, we've decided that the best option for us is to have a home birth with the support of a midwife.

Do you have children? If so, how many and what was your delivery process?

If you do not have children, how many do you want and by what means? Natural? Adoption, Surrogacy? Sperm donor?

After the baby is born so we will get necessities that are gender neutral.

We'd also like to have a shower after the baby is born BUT we'd like to have a first time parent celebration before the baby is born where people can celebrate my husband and I by buying us gifts that will help us remember one another once the babies are here.

I've seen pictures and videos of it being given to women in labor and it seems sooooo painful!

Honestly it depends on the person giving you the epidural, during my first between the contractions I honestly didn't feel it, but with my second because I had to have a c section 6 weeks early and with no contractions, I felt the epidural needle go in.

It's just starting to become "a thing" to use in the US during childbirth. I've never had/used it before but I hope it helps. I hope all baby plans go according to plan for you!

I already had back pain so I can't tell lol but I had really bad contractions. Being induced means you go straight into having the contractions without having them gradually get worst. None of the doctors or nurses told me that. So by the time I got the epidural I was thinking God that I wouldn't be feeling any more contractions but the down side meant no more food lol

The only negative side effect I'm having is trying to potty train my 3 year old (she turns 3 in 5 days) before the wedding in October, but she is extremely strong willed and refuses to tell us when she needs to potty

What is the potty training process like? What do you have to do?

Pretty you have to be consistent about putting them on the potty chair every hour for about 5 to 15 minutes or until they pee. Which is difficult when you have a one year old running around lmao but the child has to be ready to be potty trained or else it's almost a losing battle
