Omg! I don’t see why they would do that!? Our states can’t survive months “unopened”. And it sure as heck won’t last that long! I’m SO sorry!!!

Wow! I’m in California too and for a venue to make such a big decision and affect so many people so far in advance is devastating! Luckily there’s still a little time to change to a different venue! Let’s hope you can keep the date and all the vendors and just change locations!

That’s odd that they would do this so far out. I’m August 8th and when I talked to my venue they said they’re not worried about August unless come June things are still bad.

That’s so crazy! I don’t live in CA but even with my venue my coordinator said not to worry about postponing my June wedding yet until a month in advance. I’m so sorry this has happened to you. I know all of us brides are just heartbroken since we have been planning for so long.

That’s crazy. We’re getting married August 1st and our venue is so confident that we’ll be okay. I hope they’re right. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, hope you’re able to find a better venue 😕

Hi Morgan. So sorry to hear about your wedding. I’m in California also. If you don’t mind me asking, which venue is your wedding held at? Our venue will not let us make any changes until 6 weeks prior to the wedding and mine is in August also.

View Quoted Comment Our wedding venue is up here in Northern CA (Red Bluff) that canceled on us so we are continuing with our original date and having it at our house instead. Not what I had envisioned, but it will be beautiful all the same.
