August or September wedding in Chicago

Buy a personal fan and do it in August. Lol it's seems you have more pros than cons.

Based on your list it seems like August makes more sense! August will more likely than not be hot, but September weather is unpredictable and could be hot as well. 9/24 is my date though so its a pretty good date :-)

Could be hot in September too! My birthday is 9/27 and it's often been 80-85 degrees.

I am having an August wedding in Chicago and it will probably be pretty hot... but honestly you never know with Chicago weather. My friend just got married in September and it was 75 degrees! It seems like you have more pros for August and it holds meaning because that is the month you met! I vote August.

Personally, I wanted a September Chicago wedding, but didn't want to wait that long so did April instead. August has more pros for you, so maybe pick August?

Good points! I guess you are right Sept could be hot also...i never paid too much attention bw the two months and always felt Sept is cooler.

September 24 speaks to me for some reason lol which is why I'm hesitant. Really no reason why, other than we both like the number 24 and hate odd numbers, but that's just bc we're weird. FH said he would be ok with late August, I mean it's basically Sept.

My first wedding was in August. Everything was indoors so it was fine.

Oh yeah, good point @squiggy, forgot to mention it will all be indoors other than pics.

@Lolerskates84 I am with you with hating odd numbers. I wanted to have my wedding on 8/28/16 but the venue we wanted wasn't available so we had to do it on 8/27/16....you have more pros for Aug so I'd say go with Aug.

As a sweaty person I sympathize with FH and vote for his comfort and say go for September unless you have an indoor venue with central ac.

I am impartial to August because FH and I started dating in August, and are getting married in August!
