August 2020 wedding pushed back

As much as I tried to fight it I had to push back my wedding a whole year do to the COVID-19 virus.

It was a lot of stressing and sleepless nights. Im a bit sad but I know in my heart it was the right thing to do.

My mom is high risk and I have a few friends and even a brides maid that is out of work.

My planner has been amazing with helping find a new date that works for all my vendors.

    Our date was August 14th and we are working to officially push it back to 2021 this week. I feel your pain. I’m sure it helps a lot to have a planner to help coordinate and bounce ideas off of!!! Are you guys eloping or postponing everything? Best of luck to you and your fiancé!!

    We may elope if we are able to get Marriage License. Right now there seem to be no signs of opening California back up.

    We are in lower New York, and based on the governor’s plans plus how greatly our area was impacted, we realized that there was no way we could safely have 130 guests celebrate in about 100 days from now, plus we are certain a lot of older family members would not feel comfortable coming nor would we want them to put themselves at risk. Other areas may be a different situation than ours. I’m sorry to hear about California not offering marriage licenses. Our governor opened them back up about 2 weeks ago thankfully.
