Attire for Small Wedding Party

Honestly you can handle this just like any other wedding party. If it were me I would go shopping with my sister to pick out a dress that she likes. I would probably prefer a color in my color palette for decor. As for the BM, he can match the groom or if you're open to it he could wear whatever color he wants. I would put a little effort to make sure everyone complements each other, but definitely give more freedom given the situation.

Yes. We are having a MOH and BM only. Since our parents are gone, I will have my niece and nephew walk me down the aisle and my finance's sister will be MOH and my brother will be BM. I think the clothing would depend upon your dress. Your dress sets the tone of the day. So if it is formal, by all means a gown for your lady should be worn and if your hubby will be wearing a formal suit, then yes, the best man could match, but could wear a different tie and hankie to match your MOH's dress. I love the photo - you see how the overall look is. It's clean and elegant. If your dress isn't as formal or traditional, then you can make a more casual look, but with the same premise. The dress for your MOH could be long or short or even tea length if you want a more casual look.

Attire for bridal party

The choice of attire depends more on the formality and the time of day of the event than the number in the wedding party.

Tuxedos are evening formal wear. If you are having a formal evening wedding (ceremony starting after 5:30 or 6:00pm), then it's fine for the men to wear a tuxedo. Otherwise they can wear a suit.

We are only having one attendant each. My fiance told his best man any suit. I told my MOH any floor length dress that wasn't black, white, or red.

This way they could wear things they already owned if they wanted or else buy something with rewearability.
