Assigned Seats or Assigned Tables?

The place setting will be the same, the menu card will have a different colored jewel which signals the different meals

Casual seats I don't think I should pick which of the 3 tables fit whom.

We are doing neither, my sister got married and did the same and it worked out well...

It's nice that you have had a positive personal experience with having neither assigned tables nor assigned seats!

I think I may do assigned tables. I did however go to a wedding where it was assigned tables and there was one person who knew no one at the table. He got there first so he picked his seat. Groups came and filled up mostly all the other seats. A group of 3 came and they had to be split up because there wasn’t three seats together. They made the solo person feel so awkward that he gave up his seat. It was nice of him but he really didn’t have to. Made me think that maybe assigned seats work better haha

Assigned tables for our families so they are near us, but other than that I want guests to sit where they like. I hate going to a wedding and being forced to sit with people I don't know, or worse yet, when I was single being stuck at the "dateless" table...eww

We are not doing assigned seating
