As an Arizona native, I may be a little biased but I think the Grand Canyon State has something to offer for everyone: amazing views from mountain ranges to desert escapes as well as a thriving urban scene, providing a lively venue for any party.

It is a state full of color and diversity, from cacti to pine trees, and arguably the most beautiful sunsets around. Perfect for that sunset “golden hour” in your wedding day photos.

I want to know, who is getting married in the great state of Arizona & where? Smiley heart Down in the desert or up north? What Arizona city are you getting married in?

Hi Peter and Michelle! Wow, huge connections to Arizona! The Tlaquepaque chapel will be perfect and with beautiful red rocks all around, Sedona is a gorgeous destination. I can't wait to see your BAM wedding pictures!

So many beautiful resorts in and around the Phoenix area. We are thinking about a few as possible reception locations for my daughter.

Hi Angelica, my FH and I are getting married in AZ April 2019 as well and we have booked with Venue at the Grove on 27th Ave and Vineyard if you would like to check them out (: We are having both outdoor ceremony and reception all at this same spot.

They have many different options from $2,000-$16,000+ packages and although the location is odd the venue itself is far from "AZ" scenery. Take a look and feel free to lmk if you want more info (: Good luck!

Hi Philip&Tracy! I live in the area. Sedona in October will be absolutely beautiful. Smiley heart It may be a little chilly in the evenings but otherwise, gorgeous weather, beautiful red rocks, nature, and the best sunsets, to date. My most unbiased opinion, of course. Smiley winking

Where will you be getting married in Sedona? At a venue or somewhere outdoors?

We’re getting married in early 2020. Trying to decide on a location is tough. Arizona really has soooo much to offer, as far as scenery goes!

Deiona, so true! From mountain views to desert landscapes, nature areas, rock formations, the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and many options in and around the Phoenix area, too, it's so hard to choose! Smiley heart Do you think you prefer something scenic in nature, like desert or mountains, something outdoors? Or something more modern and urban?

We’re definitely leaning towards something outdoors for the ceremony, but I also like the warehouse aesthetic. In January, it’ll be a little too chilly for a completely outdoor wedding... maybe I’ll get a chance to incorporate both for the wedding.

That's a great plan! Smiley heart I also love that warehouse, kindof industrial/rustic aesthetic.

There are great wineries and outdoor spaces here in Arizona that have wood barns/warehouse venues that you can rent, with partially indoor/outdoor options, that might interest you!

Is Arizona a "destination wedding" location for you or do you live in AZ currently?

I hadn’t even thought about wineries! Definitely something else to explore.

    We live here currently. 🙂

Oh good! I have heard great things about ones in the Sedona, Cottonwood, and the Verde River areas, specifically! It's really beautiful up there, in Northern Arizona, as I'm sure you already know. Smiley heart

I love your rustic warehouse, Arizona January wedding day vision! Smiley heart Best of luck in your venue search and let us know what you end up finding. Smiley heart

I'm getting married in March at The Stillwell House. Its beautiful, really my dream location. Its a garden as well and has options for both in and outside ceremony and reception. We are choosing outside everything.

I am! My hubby is from Tucson but we're in NY now. We're looking at Tucson Botanical Gardens for an outdoor garden wedding next October (or late September). So far it's the only place that I've found that has the look and feel of what we want. Open to other suggestions though. We're flying down in December to finalize the venue. Smiley smile

I just got married in Sedona Az. The Grand Canyon was my first choice. It was beautiful! Everyone had a blast largely in part due to the area!!
