Are you paying off your vendors before the wedding or the day of?

All of my vendors require final payment before the wedding day except our DJ, however they will all be paid before the day of the wedding. One less stress to worry about on my part.

I'm not sure when we have to pay but we are paying everyone before. The only thing we owe is the cake, caterer (78), florist and photographer, DJ, and videographer.

Our venue has been paid off for about 3 months, and we've paid everything else off as well. It's hard, but it makes everything so much easier to pay off before hand. One less thing to have to stress about. You don't want to be worrying about that the day of. The only people we have to pay the day of is our limo company

We have 394 days to go. Every pay period we send vendors. Our goal is to have wedding paid by spring. Wedding is in the fall. Fingers crossed

I would pay them all before. Our DJ was do two weeks before. Most of the other vendors and church are due the week before. We have couple things due the day of the rehearsal.

All has to be paid in full except the catering which will be billed either the day of or the day after (guest and age count).

Im paying the dj the day of and all the rest will get paid the week before.

Ok, so I spent a ton of money today. Photographer is paid with the exceptions of any extras, chair and table rentals, DJ has been paid for a while, transportation to and from the venue, now I'm just waiting to hear back from the photo booth people so I can pay them too.

I wanted to thank everyone for their opinions. I agree that it will make things a lot easier to have everything done and out of the way ahead of time. I can designate someone else to hand out the tip envelopes.
