Are you letting your bridesmaids pick their hair and jewelry?

Nope-- I let my BMs pick their whole outfits-- dress, makeup, hair, jewelry, shoes-- I just wanted them to feel attractive and have fun. I'm sure my wedding would never be featured in "Bridal Magazine" but when I look at the pics, all my friends look happy, and that's what I wanted.

I picked about 10 dresses and let them pick from them (they actually ended up picking my second choice, so I was happy!). I told them silver shoes with the intention that they could each pick their own but they all actually loved the same pair, so that worked. I am paying for them to get their hair done and they can do it however they want as long as they put a flower in it! I am not paying for their makeup, but I am giving them the option to get their makeup done when I do if they want to pay for it (but they don't have to). I am buying their jewelry.

I'm not sure why but I just don't care what my bridesmaids are wearing. I told them long pale pink dresses & whatever shoes, hair, jewelry... I think the only things I would veto are flip flops or sneakers

They can pick whatever they want. They've both asked me for color ideas and an idea of the kind of dress (e.g. long, short, how formal, etc), so I've told them short and off-white.

I picked jewelry, but I'm not so hung up on their hair.

I have pretty much let them all pick everything. They all voted and agreed on a dress, MOH and I agreed that they wear black shoes as long as it's not over 3 inches (I am only 5 foot and my shoes are 5 inches so I don't want to look extremely short next to everyone.) They can pick their own jewelry. (I am considering buying them jewelry to wear as BM gifts though) and they can decide on their own hair and make up.

I am letting my girls pick their hair, shoes and jewelry. All I asked was that the shoes be silver & the jewelry simple.

I told them do whatever they want with hair I let them pick out their own dresses I'm giving them an option of 4 kinds of shoes and again they can pick which ever they feel

I'm buying their jewelry and using it for their gift. It it's a personalized piece so they can wear it again and not just at the wedding

I am buying my BMs their champagne colored chiffon dresses from DB; they can choose a style that suits their personality and style provided the dresses are the same color and fabric. Hair, shoes, jewelry, makeup etc is up to them.

Not really. Everything will be decided together with me. I value their opinions and comfort levels, but I'm the only one who knows what the whole picture is supposed to look like, so I want to have the OK on all the moving parts.

I told mine that I will be providing a hair accessory but as long as it is in their hair I don't care if it is up, down, pick, blonde or green (MOH currently has purple but that will change in a few weeks when she gets bored, lol). I giving them the bracelet I want them to wear and told them they can pick what they want for earings but they can't be gangly ones (but huge blinded out studs, pearls or whatever is fine) and told them no necklaces

I want their dresses to all match. As long as they all have gray/silver shoes I'm ok with it, My bridesmaids range from 4'10, to 6 foot tall. I'm also letting them pick their own hairstyle I just want them to wear this peacock feather clip in it somehow

I am allowing the girls to do their hair however along with whatever shoes they want! I am buying just a simple necklace for all of them.

Actually I just got a good laugh looking thru my pics. I specefically told the BM's that I wanted black close toed shoes, and Bridesmaidzilla is wearing some sort of nude sandal!

They all will be wearing the same dresses - I picked my top three and had them vote to narrow it down to one. For hair my restrictions were everyone had to have it either up or down with no loud hair colors (they voted on that too) and for jewelry I picked it out and am gifting it to them.

Maybe I'm just bossier than everyone else... lol.

I am picking their dresses and shoes (but staying within a low budget) and their jewelry will be my gift to them. Their hair has to be down. Curly, straight, wavy... doesn't matter. Just down. Which is fine for all of them, they prefer to have their hair down and pretty.
