Yes, but not only because he's my grandfather. I feel like that would be rude not to invite the officiant to the reception.

The agreement we had with our officiant is that we would pay her $50 (she does donations) and invite her to the reception as well.

We invited our pastor, and a couple of the other pastors and wives from the church. We told the DJ too - so we are expecting clean music. We are not having an open bar, so we aren't worried about anyone getting too drunk too early. We are close with the church families, so we wanted them to be included in our celebration!

Yes! I am going to invite them as they are very good with me and I have long family relations with them. Also, it will benefit me later.

In our case he is a friend, so yes. In any other case i feel if theyre traveling its almost rude not to invite them to stay - but then again its another plate to pay for...

Our officiant will definitely be invited. I served with him in the military so I'm honored that he even accepted to want to officiate for us. It's the least I could do!

If it were my family pastor , yes. However he bailed so our back-up is not currently invited to stay, but perhaps after we meet him I would be open to it.

Of course! Regardless of if it turns out to be my Aunt or Uncle or a Judge we know- or someone else, it seems a little odd they wouldn’t be!

Yes, I plan to. He is more than just an officiant we hired, he is our pastor and knows us personally.
