GAHH I wish we could physically have him there!!

We're having drink koozies made for favors, and it will have our dog's picture on one side. We will also have a 'doggie bag' table with bags of pet treats. Those will be our dog's 'thank you' to our guests' pets! I'm thinking of getting a cute figurine made of him, and having it on the side of the groom's cake 'eating' the icing! 😜 We also included him in our engagement photos!!

We plan to have signature drinks named after each of our three pets.

My Cake topper!

I wish, but I can’t. He is wayyyy too big, and he gets too excited to meet people. He weighs 106lbs. He is an English Bulldog, slobber comes automatically when he sees food 😂

I would love to have my two dogs physically be at my wedding, but they'd be waaayyy too hyper and distracting! And one of them would 100% eat every piece of food in sight haha. Instead, we included them in our engagement pictures that we also used for our save-the-dates. I also want to get figurines as a cake topper and name signature drinks after them!

We’re naming the tables after the cats, with drawings of them and little bios.
We may add them to the cake topper as well.

We have a cat named Preston -love your idea of naming a signature drink after him!! I just ordered our cake topper & he will be represented there! Our name is Stern & the date is 4.3.21

I think I've seen those types of figurines before (though they were peeking out from under the cake instead of eating it, similar to the pictures below) - but the dog figurine eating the cake is super cute idea! If you end up getting the figurine, definitely share pictures, I'd love to see how it turns out!

If I remember right, I think I saw your previous discussion about whether to name the tables after your cats or after adorable cats! Which one did you end up deciding on? My cat that I had before I met my FH, had lived with us for 2 years before she suddenly passed away in 2019 at 5 years. We are doing a remembrance table and it was important to me that she be on it. She meant a lot to me and us.

View Quoted Comment We will use just our own, past and present. And if we need one more table we will put the long departed hamster SweetTarts. Who would escape to a nest under the stove and then go back to her cage. We found her under there with a collection of toys one time and she was so mad, we all jumped back at her standing on her hind legs ready to fight!
