Are you going to or did you wear a watch?

I feel very naked and vulnerable without a watch, but am not sure it goes so well with the wedding dress look, even my nice watch. Will I need to know what time it is, to know if everything's on track, or will it just stress me out, especially if things are running behind. Watch or no watch, what do...

Watch or no watch, what do you think?

I will not be wearing a watch. I plan on getting on everyone's nerves by asking what time is it over and over. Lol

I wear a watch everyday and it's pretty formal, but as soon as I looked at the pictures of me in my dress when I tried it on, it looked awkward. I'll be going without that day.

My mom asked me if I will wear a watch, and i didn't, I associate watches with work so why would I wear one on my wedding day?

I agree if i had an heirloom watch I would wear it as a remembrance of a loved one.

It seems like the vote is pretty strongly for a no! I think I shall do exactly what Tiffany says and drive everyone mad! I suppose I can always put it in my clutch which I'll be mostly hiding under the table or making my mum look after, and can always put it on later in the day, after the photos.

    Thanks for the advice everyone!

I feel the same way. My father bought me a really nice boulva watch when I graduated and I wear it almost everyday. It doesn't match the wedding for me. So I will not be wearing it. I think it takes aware from the soft bride look.
