Has anyone who has had or is having an April 1st wedding date been asked if they're being serious? If I had a penny for every time someone asked me, "you realize that's April fool's, right?" I could pay off the entire wedding cost. Haha!

My fiancé and I thrive off of humor and grand gestures, so we want our April 1st wedding to be quite the spectacle. My biggest prank for him will be our first look, where I'll first send my bridesmaid's husband out, dressed in drag, pretending to be me! Just to take the edge off and make everyone laugh. Of course, we will then have our sweet and intimate first looks--free of any nerves (I'd hope)!

I love it!!! If our timeline had allowed, I would have planned with our Best Man to have him do that to my husband! 😂 He’s his best friend since 1st grade. If you feel up to it, definitely share the pics here!

How fun! As a cute prank maybe you could do food that looks like something else either during the cocktail hour or dessert. Some examples

Cheese Dip "Carrots"

bagel and cream cheese cookies
Hamburger Cupcakes
mini pumpkin pies (its really cheese and crackers)
Apple "French fries"

You'd be amazed how many different "fake out" foods there are. It s become escpecially popular with dessert cakes that look like a plate of nachos cookies that look like a pizza pie, I have also seen mini meatloaves and mashed potatoes that look just like a cupcake.
This one cracks me up
Looks like a beautiful cake right inside is a big ole watermelon (cool whip is the frosting)
So fun!
