April 3rd wedding

Melissa, on March 17, 2020 at 11:21 AM Posted in Planning 0 5
Hi, I am sure many of you are in the same boat but I have to voice my concerns somewhere. Everyone keeps telling me to calm down and won’t let me feel what I am feeling. Like most of you, I have been dreaming about my wedding day my entire life. I am an emotional wreck. I am two weeks away from my wedding and have no idea if it will even be happening. I am waiting to here back from my venue, I asked my florist to hold off on purchasing my flowers, my makeup artist is unsure of keeping our appointment and all of my family are back east and are all afraid to fly. I am having such a hard time keeping it together at this point. My heart is breaking.

With two weeks out, you should take this decision into your own hands and postpone instead of waiting for your venue to give you an answer. They're in business for making money. They don't care about the health of your friends and family, that's your responsibility.

I agree with Caytlyn. I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this so close to your wedding day, but postponing is in the best interest of everyone. Start contacting your vendors ASAP and see what your options are. Especially with a great deal of your guests having to fly out for your wedding, you don't want to take such a huge risk for the health of your loved ones by continuing with your wedding right not. Everything will work out for the best, I promise! We had to change the date of our wedding too and I wouldn't change how it turned out at all Smiley smile

I'm so sorry, but if your date is April 3rd, I don't see any way you can avoid postponing...Current guidelines are no gatherings of greater than 10 people for the next 8 weeks. Can you contact your vendors and get a new date booked? I'm so sorry you have to deal with this

Im sorry and i know it's hard. At this time i feel we are all going thru this rollwr coaster and having to postpone or cancel. In this moment and time do what's best and swe what options work out for you. At this time postponing is best

I am so sorry this is happening. I think it's so important to grieve the loss of our weddings. We have now postponed our April 25th wedding to September 5th Smiley sad
