April 2022 Brides- When do you do your shower and Bach party?

Kara, on April 18, 2021 at 9:41 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 11

Having thoughts on when do we plan for a Bridal shower and Bach parties. I feel like end of the year is out of the question, since the holidays and people want to spend time with family and kids. We are from Michigan and There's not much to do in the winter here... BUT we are having a destination wedding out of state, so I don't also want to ask our Bridal party to travel for the Wedding and a Bachlor or Bachlorette party.. So Just curious what are you doing? When are you having these types of things? Summer? Fall?

My wedding is March 2022, I am doing Bach in late August, or early Sept because I want a warm getaway! and then we are going to do a girls night out/bach pt. 2 in our city in February.

My MIL wants to do Bridal shower in late January.

I'm getting married April 2022, also - my MOH and I have been talking about maybe doing a camping/glamping/cabin getaway for bachelorette, so we are thinking either summer or try and hold out for late March 22, assuming it's not too close to the wedding day. Still deciding. I'm interested to know what others getting married around the same time are planning!

Mine will be in March and we are going to Tulum, Mexico. My wedding will be local, so we decided to travel, but I asked for a bach trip/bridal shower combo instead of having my friends commit to two separate events.

My MOH and I have been corresponding about this and we both have no idea how close/far away to have the Bachelorette party. However,I think since April is usually rainy and 50/50 on cold or warm weather where I'm at,I think having my party in the late summer/early fall would be best. Also, there will be an underage bridesmaid and thinking of doing 2 Bachelorette parties:one pg,the other one Magic Mike styleSmiley winking

Yeah. I wanted an engagement party.. A Bachelorette.. And a bridal shower but not looking like it'll happen. Our wedding is small but with cases rising.. Doesn't seem like it will happen for small parties.

Our wedding date is early April and we're doing our bach party/my bday weekend 2nd weekend of March. Close to wedding date but might as well kill two birds with one stone lol

My bridesmaids decided on the weekend right before my wedding. I wasn’t like super happy about it, but that date allows all of them to be there.
And I am having my shower the Wednesday before the wedding, I’m getting married on a Saturday.
