Appointment to register?

Jessica, on June 14, 2016 at 7:45 PM Posted in Planning 0 22

Anybody that has registered at bed, bath and beyond I've heard conflicting things. Do FH and I need an appointment or can we just walk in and register?

We just walked in. They do take appointments, though. And will ask you to make a follow up appt. to revisit your registry. Be prepared to spend a couple of hours there, too. We had so much fin with our consultant there. Some people have posted they didn't like someone being with them, but we had a blast. And she had such good ideas and suggested things we would never have thought of.

You could also call your local shop and ask what they prefer if you've heard walking in is a no-no

Perfect. Thanks ladies. We need to go in the store because I need to touch things to know if I want them! We will just walk in.

We were able to walk in but they reccomend making an appointment. I hope you have a better experience then we did! We had someone that literally followed us around and was telling us to register for. I was very annoyed by the end.

We walked in and we did it on a Saturday afternoon. The store was busy, so we had to wait for the consultant to become available, but we probably only waited ten minutes. That's pocket change compared to how long we were there scanning items.

You can make an appointment, but you don't have to. We did not make an appointment for BBB.

They told us they recommend calling ahead to make sure there will be someone available to help us.

I scheduled our initial appointment at a bridal show.

I just walked in during the week. I figured the weekends would be crazy busy.

They asked if we needed any help walking around but I said I didn't need any help.

I would suggest to make an appointment if you want a consultant to help you. If not, I would walk in.

FH and I just walked in because we weren't sure which one to do either. We went on a week day afternoon so they weren't super busy. We weren't able to finish our registry that day and they recommended scheduling a time to come back but they said we could just walk in too.

We did walk in. And you don't have to have the consultant follow you around. Just ask to do it alone and they respect it.

I was a bridal consultant there for 2 years and just walking in is fine, but if there's someone in front of you, don't leave just wait a few minutes. Try going on a week day also. The store will be quieter.

Because we wanted to come in on a weekend they requested we make an appointment. They were fine when we needed to change the time and then when I was a few min late due to work

Yeah we will tell them we would rather go around the store alone. I don't like sales people stalking us
