Appointment to register?

Anybody that has registered at bed, bath and beyond I've heard conflicting things. Do FH and I need an appointment or can we just walk in and register?

You can walk in - but on weekends high volume stores can get so busy they might not have a scanner for you

What I would do is start one online with like a couple basic things, and then go into the store and ask if you can update it.
This way, they just gave us the scanner but they didn't pressure us to have a consultant, since they thought we already did that part
