Anyone wishing they would have eloped instead?

Stacy- i wish people would be like that with me instead of demanding i do this or that. lol My mom & I have pretty much planned my wedding. I have never helped anyone plan a wedding before so this is my first rodeo. At first we thought we'd go to the courthouse then have a small reception after but too many people kept wanting to come and we wanted to be able to share our special day with them so we changed to a Church wedding. I've even had people pick about the date FH & I chose because it's a Wednesday but like i told them my FH is out of state a lot and that's one of the days he will be home & most of the people we know have asked for that day off or traded shifts with someone but we understand if they can't come due to work reasons. Hopefully my wedding day will be so amazing i can look back someday and not even remember all the drama & stuff.

I hope I don't remember all the drama either. I'm sorry that people have had a problem with the wedding date being a Wednesday. I've had people complain that August is too hot. My sister got married on a Wednesday too and the people that she really cared for made it there despite their jobs. It will work out. Just hang in there and focus on the positive, you found a great man to spend the rest of you life with!!

I've been thinking about it lately. Only because I want to get pregnant soon and I refuse until we are married. The only thing holding me back are the deposits and the honeymoon booked. Just wish time will fly by.

Stacy- Thank you. Sorry about that. I had someone complain because my reception site is a boy scout cabin and has no a/c. Fh's sister tried to get us to change the date because she wanted to go to the beach the week of our wedding. That's true! He has been so good to me

Heather- Time will fly by. to be honest. FH & I were talking back in December about wanting to start ttc but we decided it'd be the best thing to wait until we got married even though it was really hard ... Now that i look back on it time went by really fast... i'm too excited thinking i only have a little over a month to wait!.... Good luck to you when you start ttc

Every day and twice on Sunday. It's actually what I originally wanted to do, but fh wanted a "real" wedding. So I get saddled with planning this and he has to do very little. At least in 19 days it will all be done!

Soon to be mrs K- i guess i need to look at it that way..in 37 days it will all be over and it can go back to normal

That was my idea but it turned out to be an expensive wedding so far

I know whatcha mean. too much invested money wise to just walk away from the wedding now!
