Anyone record their wedding ceremony?

FH and I are getting married abroad next Tuesday. It will just be the two of us, married by the mayor of the town. We were discussing the possibility of recording our ceremony so that our families can watch it later. We think it will be received well by them since many are living in different countries than us now. What are your thoughts on this? Have you done this yourself? Any tips?

    I think this is a great idea. Do you have a tripod and camera that you could use? I've heard of people using GoPros.

    I have a tripod for my DSLR but nothing for my phone. I'm hoping to find some kind of budget cellphone tripod in the next couple of days. I've only ever shot photos with my gear, didn't even know until today that it can take video. A bit concerned about having enough space with the memory cards I have so the phone may be better to use. 🤔

    Look up a selfie stick tripod on amazon. I got one for about $15... you can prop your phone up on it!
