Anyone NOT have a cake topper?

First off, that cake is beautiful! I think a cake topper would be nice, but not necessary.

But I may be biased, because I probably won't bother to spend money on one lol unless it's something I would turn into a decoration at my house.

That cake is gorgeous! I don't think I would add a topper. We have a topper since we aren't having a decorated cake - just a frosted one.

So pretty! I am not planning to buy a cake topper. I just don't like most of them, and I don't want to spend a lot for the kind I like. Your cake would be gorgeous either way. Personally, I never think a cake "needs" a topper.

We are not having a cake topper. My florist is going to use a single Peony for the top.

I think you should get one like the one Maltese got (where the hell is she anyway) I think you were the found who found it for her....?

I bought one and then it never made it onto the cake, and our ringbearer stole them(they were gold deer figurines).

*shrug* it makes the kid happy.

I really don't think it needs one, but if you want one and have the money then go for it but just get something simple. This is how our table will be set up, I wasn't going to have a cake topper but FH wants one. So now i'm stuck between two. The silhouette one would have a little girl on it as well (our daughter).

Your cake is GORGEOUS! I would say no cake topper, or if you do have one have something very simple. I wouldn't want to detract from the floral details on the cake.

We are not even doing a cake - pies only - because I don't like cake and can't justify spending that much money on something I don't care for.

I don't think you need one. Your cake is fine as-is. We didn't have one and I thought ours was awesome...

We have one, it doesn't necessarily have to go on the cake cause the cake is plenty decorated but DH really wants on so we will prob put it on.

@FMP we would have the dog and the little girl, they just don't have a picture on etsy with both. I"m trying to figure out what would stand out better, they come in white, black, silver and gold.

I am really 50/50 on it, I feel like it will be okay if we don't use one but then again I feel like it does ughhhh!!

I mean we can afford it, but I can't decide if I want to spend $60 bucks on something people won't even notice lol

How tall is your cake toppers?

We do not have a cake topper. I don't think you need one either. Really just personal preference here with that gorgeous cake :-D I'm a cheap-o and wouldn't spend $60 on a cake topper.

We technically didn't have one. we did the monogram and the flowers =)

ETA: yes it leaned a little, AZ is hot even with AC in April!

I vote for no cake topper, the cake is gorgeous and doesn't need anything on top to distract from the awesome artistry.

I don't have a cake topper and never even considered it until now. We are only doing the main cake in this picture. I love your cake BTW!

Yeah i vote no cake topper i feel like it will take away from the decor of the cake
