Anyone NOT have a cake topper?

That cake is gorgeous! You really don't need a topper. Our cake is similar in style and we ordered just a 6" "S" in crystals to put on top. The Baker recommended we get something, so we did. I think it was $50 on Etsy. I will definitely be finding somewhere to incorporate it into my home decor after the wedding.

@MrsPope, your cake is gorgeous as is. To be honest, I can't even remember any cake toppers from any wedding I've ever been to. Just save your money.

I think a cake topper goes on the Long List of Things You Won't Even Notice the Day of-- if you don't want one, skip it. I promise, neither you, nor anyone else will even notice.

No cake topper for us either, but we did get one of these! Table sign that we get to put it on a shelf after the wedding. I love things that can be reused around the house.

Definitely not! Your cake is gorgeous and unless it was something really subtle I think it would take away instead of add to it. I honestly haven't even thought of this... we also still don't have a cake...ugh so sick of planning!

I bought one and couldn't find it! The cake was beautiful on its own. I didn't miss it. Neither will you. lol. That cake is lovely.

We didn't have a cake topper. We let the cake speak for itself. I've seen some beautiful cakes that were ruined by the presence of a tacky looking or over the top cake topper.

I think you're fine without. I spent about $25 for ours (two ceramic birds that I picked up at Michael's for $2 each and then a "Mr. & Mrs." heart with our date and a dowel to stick in the top so it's behind the birds). If you go with anything, definitely don't spend a lot.

I really wanted one at first and was even going to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a custom one, after FSIL (FBIL's wife) gifted us the money for the one I want after hearing FH tell me that he would NOT allow me to send that kind of money on a cake topper.

Well now that we're looking at cakes and the ideas that we're leaning towards, I can't imagine putting something on top of there.

We'll see what happens when we actually pick a cake but I don't think its necessary. BTW I think your cake is Beautiful!

You don't need a topper no. I do love the flowers idea, but it's not necessary.
