Anyone know the typical cost of a highlight video?

A HIGHLIGHT VIDEO? How long are they planning on making it? When I think highlight I think 2 mins top.

That's how much ours charge. It's like a five minute video.

Photography and videography require a lot of talent and time and their equipment is very expensive and has to be replaced often (I worked as an assistant in a studio and wedding photographer). Keep that in mind! You get what you pay for.....

It's not included in your package? I don't know the exact price of ours, everything is all bundled up! Not knowing what else is included it seems a little high, BUT you have to take into account the amount of time to edit down ours of footage to 5-30 mins. Not sure how long but I guess that's part of the price.

Mine came as part of a package so I don't know what the break down is. If he's trying to up sell you, I would take it as am opportunity to negotiate other things in he process. What comes w what you are paying for now? Is there anything else you want from them?

I can't remember but our photographer's videography for all day started at at least $1000 or more. I asked to do just ceremony and the two man camera would have been $600

I'm paying $2,400 for a 10 minute long video, highlight video delivered 24 hours after the event and all raw footage. I also get 3 copies on a blu-ray and a two videographers for 10 hours.

So...yes I think that is overpriced. And yes, a videographer is very talented and hard working, but try not to get ripped off.

Ours is charging us $400 for the 5-7 minute Highlight video and a $1000 for two cameramen and three cameras for the entire day. I am so happy that I found him because the first person that I found wanted $5000 for 6 hours and the Highlight video
