Anyone heard of Jimmy Johns?

Lindsay, on January 30, 2016 at 9:37 PM Posted in Planning 0 42

I know there aren't jimmy johns everywhere but to the people that are familiar with Jimmy johns, would it be odd to have some platters catered to my wedding for a late night snack? They cut 8 inch sandwiches into thirds and place them on trays.

I don't like Jimmy Johns, so I wouldn't go for that as a late night snack. What are you doing for your reception? It seems a bit casual...

My reception is in a barn at a winery. Was thinking either pizza or sandwiches.

ETA: our reception is pretty casual. I'm a casual person lol.

As long as you have plenty of alcohol. It's really good drunk food, but honestly not that great sober.

I would go for pizza over sandwiches personally. But I LOVE pizza!

Definitely not a fan. Overly priced for small subs and mediocre taste.

Really? Hmm..interesting. Their bread is amazing and it costs me 5$ for a sandwich lol.

ETA: maybe Saint Louis just has better JJs

Jimmy John's was on my FH's bucket list of nascar last summer...the sandwich was good. I found them to be a little messy which could suck if I'm wearing nicer clothes at wedding

The owner of Jimmy John's is a trophy hunter who poaches endangered species for fun.

    Pizza!

So gross. Hate jimmy johns and the longer they sit, the nastier they get. If you want sandwiches just do subway. I would prefer pizza or Quiznos.

I like Jimmy Johns, but I think pizza would be better for a snack after dancing and drinking.

I think they're ok. I like the bread, but the sandwiches themselves are just ok.

I love them over all the other sandwich places I have been. For late night I think pizza would be better though.
