Anyone heard of Jimmy Johns?

Lindsay, on January 30, 2016 at 9:37 PM

I know there aren't jimmy johns everywhere but to the people that are familiar with Jimmy johns, would it be odd to have some platters catered to my wedding for a late night snack? They cut 8 inch sandwiches into thirds and place them on trays.

Ok, if I decide pizza how do I go about that? My wedding is not that far from civilian but no pizza place caters. Would I have someone go pick it up or could I ask places? My venue has nothing for late night snacks and I want it.

Reason why I chose Jimmy johns is because they cater to my venue.

Not a fan of Jimmy Johns. I feel like their bread is super stale/hard. But their pickles are amazing.

I LOVE Jimmy John's. Haha I'm in the St. Louis area as well though.

Pretty sure that would be an excellent choice!

JJ is nothing special compared to other sandwiches. But as far as late night when your drunk, no one will be complaining. I say go with it if it's what you want.

JJ!!!!!!!!!!! Freakishly Fast too!!!! You had them, you like them, they cater to your venue. Done deal. As I guest, I would be happy and thankful to have the additional food after a night of drinking and dancing! Best wishes Lindsay!

Jimmy Johns in CA is mediocre at best. Jersey Mikes is 300x better.

ETA-love the idea of a late night snack though, and depending how drunk I am anything will taste like heaven haha

And I had pizza twice at a wedding, one time from a food truck (fucking delicious) and the second just displayed on a table. The pizza got real cold, really fast and tasted really gross.

The wedding I was at last night had the catering jimmy johns size and I'm sure some people had neither as most people at our table went back for seconds or thirds around closing time- and we thought it was AMAZING. People who didn't like it probably just thought it was considerate and a fun idea that they just personally didn't have the taste for. Can't please everyone and if JJ logistics are easiest- do that. Only advice is if you do platters have small signs out with what kind of subs they are because after a few glasses of wine turkey and ham looked the same Smiley smile
