Anyone have a morning wedding?

We didn’t have a morning wedding, but I have attended one. The couple did a brunch immediately after the ceremony. It was actually lots of fun! I’m a huge fan of brunch, so I definitely enjoyed the food, mimosas and bloody marys! And it was nice having your evening free after!

I love the idea of a wedding brunch, but I just didn’t think I could be ready that early! 😆 We did a 2pm ceremony.

I am getting married this weekend on May 18th but our wedding is in the evening.. 4pm. I am so excited. I know this doesn't answer your question much but myself I could never do a morning wedding. I would never be ready in time. as for my 4pm wedding on Saturday. I have a 10 am hair and makeup appointment that will take 2 1/2 hours.

My wedding is scheduled to start at 9AM, followed by a lunch reception. I would have preferred a 10AM start, because I feel bad about guests who are away from home having to get ready so early. Especially if they have kids! But with our reception venue having a hard stop at 3:30, working backwards from there, we would be too rushed if we started the wedding any later than 9.

I feel like this timeline is only an option for me because 1) we are not doing any hair styling or makeup, and 2) we're not doing any photography before the wedding, or between wedding and reception.
