Anyone getting married in 2023?

We just hired a planner and they told me some vendors will book out and some won't but the sooner the better I was informed we might get a better deal if we book it out far enough however also depends on the season and the day.

I also just got engaged, on January 2nd! We are planning for May 2023. We are looking at a venue at the end of this month and there was no hesitations on the venue's end. So it all seems promising!

Never too early to start looking! But I am not booking until 2022 too much can change between now and then with schedules.

Most venues won't let you book until a year out but if your venue will I can't lie I'm jealous. Itll be so nice to get the deposit down and paid for!

Hey! We're actually renewing our vows. We didn't have a real wedding the first and wanted to do it right for your 10 year anniversary. I have found that a lot venues are booking up in my area faster than I expected them to. Look at it this way: you may be sending save the date cards by March of 2022, your invites by Sept 2022. So it's really not as early as it may seem. When I mentioned to one of them that I thought 2023 was too early so said DEFINITELY not! Due to COVID a lot of weddings, showers, etc were pushed back and now everyone is trying to reschedule. There were a few that weren't scheduling until next year but the majority of the ones I contacted were more than willing to pencil us in.

I got engaged the day my nephew was born we do have a venue picked out they dont have openings yet and I choose to to 2023 incase if covid is still in effect

Hello, I am having my wedding October 8th,2023. I have already booked and paid on my venue. I will let you know that some places won’t let you book that far out but there places out there that do let you book out that far.

Me! But we have not booked out venue but we have started looking we go to our first venue on the 27th. A few places have messaged me and told they don't have pricing yet so it's been rought but im hoping g this place works out its out first choice we got engaged on new years so its still very recent we are looking at the beginning of November of 2023 so def have time but wanting to do it to where we don't break the bank

Congrats! I like to plan ahead just so im jot rushed into last minute planning. I see nothing wrong with seeking out all your wedding plans.

Congrats!! My fiance and I got engaged in December too!! We are aiming for October of 2023. I'm actually hoping to start touring venues soon! Nothing's too soon right?

We are getting married January 2023 and we've already booked our venue. If you've found the right one, there is no reason to wait. Lock in that date before someone else does.

Congratulations! This response is exactly what I was looking for - hoping to "lock in" the 2021 price for our 2023 wedding. There are a lot of people that I've spoken to that think I am crazy when I say that. I have been looking at vendors even prior to being engaged so that I have some knowledge of what needs to be done under my belt.

I am, gives us more time to plan without the extra stress...

October 13 2023! I've booked a venue, a DJ, a florist, and a photographer already! I am working on the last few vendors I'll need now.
